The Morris Xpress Double Disc Air Drill is ideally suited for minimum tillage and convention tillage practices. This unit combines the accuracy of air technology and double disc seeding with the convenience and efficiency of Morris' air delivery system. The Xpress is available with a Morris 7000 Series 7240 tow between three point hitch Air Cart with single shoot distribution.

Toolbar Frame Members
The weighted structural tubing of the 7" by 7" main frame and 3" by 5" sub-frames ensure proper penetration for constant depth control in all conditions across the entire width of the machine.

Benefit: Better penetration for more consistent seed depth and even germination.

Category III Three Point Hitch

The Morris 7000 Series Air Cart is equipped with an ASAE industry standard three point hitch (Category III) and comes with two standard cylinder transport lock brackets. A flip-down hitch stand is included on the toolbar for easy disconnecting.

Benefit: Hydraulic controls are located at the back of the cart for an unobstructed view of the tool bar.

Row Spacing
Opener spacing options are 19 cm (7 1/2 in) and 25.4 cm (10 in).

Benefit: Opener spacing allows no-till growers an ideal fit to their cropping practices.

Patented Divider Head Distribution

Morris' patented Flat Fan Divider Heads provide an industry-leading accurate and efficient air delivery system that is exceptionally gentle on seed.

Benefit: Very gentle seed distribution on pulse and oilseed crops. Very efficient system increases accuracy of seeding rates.

Standard Field Markers
The Xpress is equipped with standard field markers especially designed for the Disc Drill. Special cylinder stop brackets provide quicker operation. A hydraulic actuator valve automatically switches the control from side to side.

Benefit: Prevents costly overlaps or missed strips.

Multi-Purpose Opener
The Xpress double disc opener delivers the seed to the furrow while providing uniform seedbed depth, and properly packing the furrow. This multi-purpose opener is fully adjustable to soil and trash conditions – adjusts up to 250 lbs of down force.

Benefit: Very accurate depth control.

Benefit: Proper packing ensures good seed to soil contact for quick germination and even emergence.

Benefit: Growers can place starter fertilizer with the seed in a single pass.

Hydraulic Fold and Unfold

The hydraulic controls are mounted at the rear of the air cart for an unobstructed view of the tool bar when folding and unfolding the unit.

Narrow Transport
The entire unit folds to a narrow transport width of 13' 10" and easily transports down narrow roads with excellent stability. Low transport height allows the entire unit to be parked in most indoor storage facilities. The 30 foot unit and 40 foot unit have a 9' 6" transport height.

Benefit: Safer, more efficient transport on narrow roads and over small bridges.

Benefit: Inside storage prolongs machine life and increases resale value.

Tool Bar Base Sizes
Models are available in 9.14m (30 ft), 10.36 m (34 ft) and 12.19 m (40 ft) of working width.

Benefit: Morris has the size and spacing option to fit virtually any size farm adopting no-till.
