Delivery System
Unique, patented flat-fan divider heads eliminate abrupt direction changes found in vertical divider heads and deliver a smooth, horizontal product flow. An efficient and balanced airflow system increases accuracy of seeding rates with only a single fan. A 98%-efficient, industrial piston-type hydraulic motor powers a 17 inch diameter forward-curved fan for travel at higher speeds or to apply higher rates of fertilizer.
Modular Metering
The EIGHT Series XL adapts as your cropping practices change. Change stainless steel stackable collectors from single to double shoot, quickly and efficiently. Direct and slow speed drive metering on up to four tanks gives you the ability to mix and match products from all tanks.
Fully Adjustable Plenum
A fully adjustable plenum lets you divert more air to the meter — for heavier products and higher rates of application — or less air, for lighter, more fragile or low volume products.
Metering Wheel
Spiral-fluted metering wheels roll a constant product flow into the air stream. A square, stainless steel metering shaft drives metering wheels, dividers and spacers together to reduce product build-up between spacers. Metering wheels are matched to divider heads to ensure equal seed metering to each opener across the machine.

Variable Rate Metering
Precise, in-cab technology controls on-the-go product rate applications for speed and responsiveness to field conditions. Morris offers two variable-rate metering options, the X20 Top Con and the Eagle Top Con.
Mechanical Drive Metering
A positive transmission lock on all drive sprockets delivers smooth, reliable metering that is straightforward and easy to set. Seed and fertilizer rate charts are conveniently located on the tank.
X20 Top Con Monitor
The X20 Top Con controls up to five tanks of granular, liquid and NH3 content. Monitor the fan speed, shaft speed and ground speed. Bin levels by calculated visual indication of remaining product. Guidance-ready interface with compatible user-supplied GPS (as-applied mapping available). Maplink VRC allows prescription map control of up to five products.
Eagle Top Con Monitor
The Eagle Top Con control system controls up to four tanks of granular, liquid and NH3 content. Monitor ground speed, shaft speed, fan speed and bin levels with fingertip control.
Versatility
Make seeding more productive and less complex with many versatile features.
Auger
Ten-inch orbital-drive auger features oversized flighting for increased efficiency. An alignment pin locks in the auger for extra stability, and bearings in the pivot points allow for easy adjustment to each tank. Double-hinged with top and bottom controls for one-person convenience.
Conveyor
The Conveyor option features a fast 60-bushel per minute loading time, with hydraulic remote for convenient one-person operation and no clean-out required.
Third Tank Option
Optional 83-bushel third tank, for the two-tank 8300 and 8370 XL models, to seed place fertilizer or for low seeding rate crops to minimize fill time.
Quad Steering
A quad steering chassis with larger tires on the front of the air cart allows you to reduce tire pressure and soil compaction. Standard on the 8435, 8630 and 8650 XL models, optional on other models.
Large Tank Openings
Large tank openings, complete with screens and ladder, provide easy access for tank cleanout.
Tank Capacities
Air cart models are available with two, three or four tanks, with total capacities ranging from 300 bushels to 650 bushels.
Dual Tires
Optional dual rear-grip tires offer extra floatation in soft soil environments.
Walk-through Design
A stable standing platform brings tank lids to waist level. A catwalk design provides safe, convenient access to all tanks. Sure-grip ladders, available on both sides, fold up when not in use.
