Morris Industries and its employees combined to donate over $12,000 to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Saskatchewan to assist in the relief efforts for survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. “Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families and communities devastated by this immense storm,” says Darrel Schindel, Marketing Communications Manager at Morris Industries.
MCC continues with their efforts and to plan the next steps of its response. “We are trying to balance the needs of getting people back in their homes quickly and building back better,” Bruce Guenther, MCC’s disaster response director. MCC partners with organizations in the Philippines to meet the needs of those affected by the typhoon.
